The African American Heritage Foundation is hosting a series of events to highlight Creole culture.
Creole Rendezvous will be held every third Saturday of the month until October at Heymann Park on Orange Street in Lafayette.
Each event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Creole celebration will feature a miniature trail ride, farmer’s market, quilting and crochet demonstrations, and a craft sale.
There will also be live music. Wayne & Same Ol’ Two Step is performing today.
You won’t go hungry; there will be food vendors at the park.
