Students at J.W. Faulk Elementary School received a big welcome back from some special guests.
Officers with the Lafayette Police Department and some Ragin’ Cajun athletes stopped by to get them in the school spirit.
The athletes say they want to show their support and encourage students to keep pushing forward.
“Keep striving and if you hit adversity, keep going,” Justin Miller, Ragin’ Cajuns’ basketball player. “Because every bump in the road will lead to success if you just take it that way and do everything you can to get there.”
