According to a release from the firm, they fed nearly 150 people in total with help from local restaurants, including Grub Burger in Lafayette, Spirits Food & Friends in Alexandria and Dugout Grill in Bunkie.

The firm says hospitals that they donated to include Bunkie General, CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Rapides Regional Medical Center, Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center and Our Lady of Lourdes Women’s & Children’s Hospital.

“This is a tough time for our community, for our nation, and for the whole world,” said Digger Earles. “We encourage those who can to give back to those who are keeping us safe and well.”
