UPDATE: Deputies say a man and woman are dead inside their home.

Earlier this evening, we reported that Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s deputies are working a homicide near Iowa.
At about 6:15 p.m. Sunday, detectives had just obtained a search warrant for a residence and are on the scene, with the assistance of the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Forensics team, to begin collecting evidence, a spokesman said.
No additional information is available now, but we’re following this story and will update it as soon as possible.
The residence is just east of Iowa, and west of Lacassine, on Highway 90, the spokesman said.
