Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office says they have arrested two men in connection to tractor thefts near Welsh.
Chief Deputy Chris Ivey says a John Deere tractor was recovered in these investigations. 24-year-old Tyler James Theriot, 24 and 29-year-old Winston Fear of Welsh were arrested in connection with these thefts.
Theriot was booked on charges of 1 count criminal damage to property and 1 count of unauthorized use of a movable.
Fear was arrested and charged with theft, 1 count criminal damage to property and 1 count of criminal trespassing.
Both are held in the parish jail with no bond.
The Sheriff’s Office says that additional arrests are expected in this investigation.
