The Jeff Davis Sheriff’s Office will host its Drug Take-Back day on October 27.
Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. that day, you can drop off old prescriptions at 1530 Shankland Avenue, Jennings, no questions asked.
This is a national program that law enforcement agencies do all over the country. It offers people a chance to safely dispose of prescriptions they didn’t finish, which have expired or prescriptions from family members who died.
