The combined Anti-drug task force and Jeff Davis Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Welsh man on drug charges.
Derek Anthony Cooper, 38, was arrested at a North Polk Street home during the execution of a search warrant, a spokesman said.
Cooper was booked on five outstanding warrants for possession with intent to distribute narcotics, along with two counts of production, manufacture, distribution, dispensing or possession with intent to distribute heroin or fentanyl.
