Jeff Davis Parish students, ready or not, head back to school Friday.
Last year Jeff Davis Parish schools achieved something they’ve been working toward for years. They finally became an “A” school district.
While that’s great news for the district, Superintendent Kirk Creduer says he knows they’re going to have to work even harder this year to keep that “A” status.
“I understand that the state is raising the bar again and making it difficult and the number of districts that are going to be “A” will be significantly reduced…so it will be difficult this year,” Creduer said.
