A California woman injured in a June 2 crash has died, State Police say.
Troopers were called to the crash on La. 674 near Blanchard Road in Iberia Parish at about 7 p.m. that date. They found that Delcenia Reyes, 52, was driving on the highway and ran off the road.
Reyes’ vehicle overturned, and she wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. She was severely injured, and troopers were told on Monday that she has died.
Impairment is unknown at this time, but standard toxicology samples were obtained for analysis. This crash remains under investigation, and there is no further information at this time.
