JEANERETTE, La. – Residents, staff and family members of Maison Teche Nursing Center in Jeanerette gathered Friday for their annual senior prom event. The theme of this year’s prom, “Winter Wonderland,” was chosen by the residents. The prom court, queen and king, also voted on by the residents, was announced and crowned at a special ceremony during the event.
Maison Teche staff have coordinated hair, makeup and other beauty services to help prom-goers look and feel their best for the special evening, where they will dance the afternoon away dressed in their finest attire.
This event is part of the facility’s efforts to generate excitement and community engagement for their residents.
