NEW IBERIA, La. – A 38-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly possessing child pornography on a cell phone.
During an unrelated investigation being conducted by the New Iberia Police Department on May 30, 2019, investigators discovered images of child pornography on a cell phone belonging to Lance Robert Lemaire.
This led Investigators to obtain arrest warrants for Lemaire on the charge of pornography involving juveniles (25 counts).
Lemaire is a registered sex offender, according to police.
He was arrested and booked into the Iberia Parish Jail.
Bond was set at $250,000.
