New Iberia Police are currently on scene of a shooting that has injured one.
Police spokesman Capt. John Babin says that the shooting happened on Cletus and Mississippi Streets Monday evening.
One person sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital. Their condition is not known.
No other details were available. It is unknown if New Iberia police have any suspects or anyone in custody.
