City and parish officials in New Iberia took part in SMILE Symposium.
The symposium was held at the Sliman Theatre.
Those officials discussed what programs are helping make the community better now and what they can do in the future to continue improving Iberia Parish.
With all of these people coming together, that is the way we’re going to move New Iberia forward. We have businesses coming, we have good things going on here,” said Deidre Ledbetter City Council District 4.
