A nonprofit organization is helping parents in New Iberia to be proactive about their children’s safety.
The KlaasKids Foundation hosted their Print-A-Thon event at Musson Patout Automotive on Saturday.
There, children were fingerprinted and photographed for free to better help agencies in the case of a kidnapping.
Parents learned about what to do if one of their children disappears.
Marc Klaas started the foundation in 1994 after his 12-year-old daughter was kidnapped and killed.
