The third annual Mayor Al Memorial 5K and One-Mile Croc Walk was held today in Loreauville.
The one-mile croc walk started at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5K at 9 a.m.
Upon finishing, participants were treated to Loreauville Family Fun Day at the village’s park.
The event is held in honor of former Loreauville Mayor and philanthropist Al Broussard who was killed in a crash in 2015.
Proceeds from the event go to the New Acadia Project and the addition of the Acadian Odyssey Monument to the city. For more details, click here.
