Two men have been arrested in connection with a shots fired investigation in Jeanerette.
The Jeanerette Marshal’s Office says that 23-year-old Denzel Matthews and 18-year-old McClellan Molo of Jeanerette are accused in a shots-fired incident on Church Street on Wednesday.
Officials say that they responded to the call of shots fired on Church Street, finding a home with several bullet holes. That home, marshals say was occupied at the time of the shooting.
Matthews and Molo were arrested. Matthews has been booked with attempted second-degree murder while Molo has been booked with principal to attempted second-degree murder.
Both were transported to the Iberia Parish jail.
