NEW IBERIA, La. – The man accused of threatening several government agencies in New Iberia Wednesday has been arrested.
Dustin Roseberry is accused of making the alleged threats live on Facebook.
The threats were made towards Iberia Parish Sheriff Lewis Ackal and Chief D’albor, according to Major Wendell Raborn, spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office. The Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office, New Iberia Police Dept., City Hall, the 911 Communication District building and the Main Branch Library we all on lockdown because of the threat.
Roseberry is in the Iberia Parish Jail facing terrorism charges.
State Police is in charge of the investigation.

Several government buildings in New Iberia were on lockdown after threats were made against them, stated New Iberia Chief Todd D’albor.
On Wednesday, a man made threats live on Facebook to Iberia Parish Sheriff Lewis Ackal and Chief D’albor, according to Major Wendell Raborn, spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office.
State Police are now investigating those threats. The lockdowns have been lifted.
