Some people in Acadiana are reporting damage around their homes following heavy winds this morning.
Some guessed a tornado touched down, but according to KATC’s Eric Zernich, there wasn’t a tornado but just strong, gusty winds.
The wind peeled a roof off of a home on Van Brocklin Road in Iberia Parish.
