Despite today’s rainy start, skateboarders headed out to New Iberia’s Bayou Wheels Skate Park for their Winter Skate Contest.
If you recall, the skate park reopened last July after being closed for three years. During that time, the park was renovated.
The skate park is conveniently located close to New Iberia’s City Park.
Cash and prizes are to be won for best trick and highest and longest ollie.
The competition is going on until 6 p.m.
