Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office investigators have booked a local man for the December 5 armed robbery of a convenience store.

Reggie Smith, 38, was booked with two counts of armed robbery, records show. No bond has been set at this time.
Smith is accused of robbing a clerk at the S. Lewis Street Food N Fun convenience store. He allegedly pulled a gun on the clerk, forced the clerk to open the register, took all the cash and then fled on food, deputies say.
