Students at New Iberia’s St. Edward School walked, ran, and jogged to raise money.
Wednesday, the school held their 14th annual Race for Education where students make their way around the school block as many times as possible in one hours time.
School officials say that participants raise funds by asking sponsors to contribute a tax-deductible amount based on the number of laps completed or simply a flat donation.
