Tonight in Iberia Parish, the Highway 14 Economic Development District 1 will hold a special meeting following the New Iberia City Council’s regular meeting.
Members will introduce an ordinance creating a new sales tax and hotel occupancy tax in the district.
The council will take public comment on the proposal next month.
