The beneficiaries of the Home for the Holiday project now have more money to continue providing services in Acadiana.
Faith House, Habitat for Humanity, St. Michael's Center for Veterans, and Healing House received checks on Tuesday night.
The money raised came from the thousands of Acadiana residents who bought tickets.
"Thank you to all of you that supported this project, all of you in Lafayette," said Pam Weaver, Vice President of W Homes, architects of this year's home. "This is such a giving community, just very loving people. Whenever they can they give back. It's just been a pleasure to be a part of this project."
