Across Acadiana, percent positivity rates are on the rise in most parishes as each parish's most recent percent positivity rate was more than 5% for last two weeks, which means that they will have to close for indoor business under the Gov. John Bel Edwards's latest emergency proclamation.
The governor's order went into effect Wednesday and moves the state back into a modified Phase 2 where bars that are in parishes that exceed 5% positivity for two consecutive weeks are required to cease serving patrons indoors.
However, the order states they can be open for outdoor consumption at tables only and at 25% capacity, with a maximum of 50 people. Social distancing is also required, and take-out and delivery will still be available.
According to the Louisiana Department of Health, here are the percent positivity rates for each parish in Acadiana as of Wednesday, Nov. 25:
Acadia

- Nov. 12 - Nov. 18: 11.30%
Evangeline
- Nov. 5 - Nov. 11: 11.70%
- Nov. 12 - Nov. 18: 12.00%
Jeff Davis
- Nov. 5 - Nov 11: 10.30%
- Nov. 12 - Nov 18: 9.10%
Iberia
- Nov. 5 - Nov 11: 11.30%
- Nov. 12 - Nov 18: 8.70%
Lafayette
- Nov. 5 - Nov. 11: 10.20%
- Nov. 12 - Nov. 18: 11.80%
St. Landry
- Nov. 5 - Nov. 11: 11.10%
- Nov. 12 - Nov. 18: 11.90%
St. Martin

According to the Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control, only six parishes in the state fall under the 5% percent positivity threshold to allow bars to have indoor consumption under the governor's latest proclamation. Those are:
- Catahoula Parish
- Orleans Parish
- Plaquemines Parish
- St. Bernard Parish
- St. Charles Parish
- St. John the Baptist
