A local organization is working hard to make Christmas memorable for 500 children in Acadiana this year.
Rosa's Angels is asking for gift donations that will be given to local children this holiday season. Those interested can drop off donations at McMillan's Pub in Lafayette, located at 2905 E. Simcoe St.
Founder Rosa McMillan says the charitable work the organization does extends beyond the holiday season.
"You haven't lived life until you've helped someone that can never repay you. That is what I live by. I do things for the homeless out of here. SMILE, I do a lot of their children. I do school uniforms. I do a lot of different things. You need my help, come and see me."
