Carencro's first Glow in the Cro Hot Air Balloon Festival kicked off Friday afternoon and will continue until Sunday.

The festival takes place at Pelican Park.

The balloons light up each night and are available for rides each morning.

There is a $5 admission fee.

Glow in the Cro will also feature carnival rides and food trucks.

Friday night, Clay Cormier and The Highway Boys performed.

Saturday features Jamie Bergeron and the Kickin' Cajuns, along with Greg Martinez and The Delta Kings.

Balloon rides start at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
