A fundraiser has been set up for the soldiers out on the front lines helping in Louisiana's recovery from Hurricane Laura.

The Acadiana Veteran Alliance and 2-156 Infantry Association partnered to raise money for soldiers affected by the storm.

Currently, they say over 100 soldiers in the Louisiana National Guard have been impacted. According to the gofundme page, many of these same soldiers will be deployed to the Middle East this Fall.

The Acadiana Veteran Alliance and 2-156 Infantry Association say that all funds raised will be directly distributed to assist these soldiers, and rebuild their homes and lives.

"These men and women proudly serve our state and country, and its our duty to serve them in these times of need."

For those wishing to help, donations can be made on their Gofundme page.
