Fall season of Downtown Alive kicks off tonight at Parc International

The fall season of Downtown Alive, Louisiana's longest outdoor concert series, begins tonight at Parc International!

Tonight's bill features Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band and Corey Ledet and his Zydeco Band.

Gates to the festival open at 5:00 p.m. and music begins at 6:00.

Anita Begnaud, CEO of Downtown Development Authority and Downtown Lafayette Unlimited, said that she's excited to "continue the tradition of live Friday night concerts in Downtown Lafayette. For over 35 years, Downtown Alive has provided a free and family-friendly venue for the community to enjoy the amazing music of Acadiana. And it gets better with each year!
