KROTZ SPRINGS, La. — UPDATE (9 p.m.): All lanes are now open on US 190 West at LA 975 (before Krotz Springs).
Congestion has cleared.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development says that US 190 is closed in both directions at LA 975, which is just before Krotz Springs, due to an accident.
Congestion is one mile in length.
Motorists are advised to use an alternate.
