A Tesla Supercharger station is under construction at the Stirling Center at I-10 and Louisiana Avenue.
This is Acadiana's first Tesla brand Supercharger. A total of eight charging stations are being installed.
The Supercharger will be powered by LUS and will be open 24/7.
Construction has just begun and should take about 1 1/2 - 2 months to complete.
