Calcasieu Parish
Christmas at the Courthouse has been canceled due to hurricane damage and COVID-19 safety concerns. Residents can still enjoy the lights and decorations at the courthouse. They will remain up until after New Year's Day.
Evangeline Parish
December 12 - Turkey Creek's Christmas parade, scheduled for December 12, has been canceled due to low numbers.
Iberia Parish
November 29 - Sounds of the Season. Radio broadcast, 1240AM and 107.5FM. 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Due to Covid Restrictions, Iberia Cultural Resources Association will rebroadcast on KANE 1240AM or 107.5FM a previous Symphony Performance so we may still enjoy the beautiful Christmas Sounds of the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra from the comfort of our homes. 337-298-7964, IberiaCultural.org.

December 12 - New Iberia Christmas Parade. Historic Downtown, Main Street, New Iberia. 5:30-8 p.m. The New Iberia Downtown Alliance presents the annual New Iberia Christmas Parade. The Lighting of the Community Christmas Tree is at 5:30 p.m. in front of City Hall, followed by the parade at 6 p.m. There are Christmas floats, visiting royalty, dance schools, school band performances throughout the parade route. 337-207-5670, IberiaTravel.com.

November 30 - January 4 - Christmas Tree Extravaganza. Parc International. Envision 50+ live Christmas trees decorated throughout Parc International. Winner announced December 19 at Parc International during Movies in the Parc. Open daily from 10 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. DowntownLafayette.org.
November 30 - January 4 - Window Wonderland. Downtown Lafayette. A fine art installation in commercial display windows in Downtown Lafayette that brings together the community, business owners and local artists to celebrate civic pride and the holiday season by showcasing their creative talents in an artistic, family-friendly and festive format. December 2 - The mayor will host Santa on December 2 at 5:30pm, who will light the community Christmas tree in front of Broussard City Hall. Masks will be required and social distancing will be strongly encouraged.
December 3-6 - Crossroads Church presents The Real Story of Christmas. Crossroads Church, 150 Verona Dr., Lafayette. Dec 3-4 at 7 p.m., Dec 5 at 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7 p.m., and Dec 6 at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m. Free Admission. The Real Story of Christmas is a fun, Broadway-style stage production that retells traditional stories of Christmas. The stories come alive in a way that has everyone laughing and singing along until the climax of the show when Santa and Mrs. Claus call for the REAL story of Christmas to be shared with a beautiful nativity scene with live camels and sheep. December 4 – A Very Curley Christmas. Parc International, Lafayette. Curley Taylor and Zydeco Trouble will perform in Parc International at a LIVE, ticketed show. December 6 - Deck the Halls, A Christmas Home Tour. 5:30-8:30 p.m. See the most beautiful homes across Acadiana decked to the nines for the holidays. December 15-27 - Old-Time Winter at Vermilionville. 300 Fisher Rd., Lafayette. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. daily. Regular admission $10 adults, $8 seniors, $6 students and children 6 and under enter free. Group rates available. Reduced admission for Family Day (December 19th) is $5. Experience the simple warmth and beauty of holidays past as our historic village brings to life the winter traditions of yesteryear. December 17 - Candlelight Christmas. Parc International. Downtown Lafayette. 6-7 p.m. Family-friendly event, featuring the telling of the story of the first Christmas, narrated by Reverend Max Zehner of First United Methodist Church, and interspersed with traditional carols led by a group of talented local musicians. December 18-20 – Christmas at The Bayou. The Bayou Church, 2234 Kaliste Saloom Rd., Lafayette. Dec 18 at 7 p.m., Dec 19 at 3 p.m., 5 p.m., Dec 20 at 11 a.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m. Free admission. This family-friendly event captures the essence of Christmas in Acadiana through a unique blend of musical styles performed by some of the area's finest musicians. December 19 - Movies in The Parc. Parc International. Join us for the grand finale of our Christmas series in Downtown Lafayette where we’ll screen the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra’s Christmas performance, followed by a showing of the classic “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.” Winners of the Window Wonderland and Christmas Tree Extravaganza competitions will be announced as well! December 19-20 - The Nutcracker. The Nutcracker presented by Lafayette Ballet Theatre, with Principal dancers from the Pacific Northwest Ballet. December 2-6 - Christmas at Coteau. The Academy of the Sacred Heart and Berchmans Academy will host their 36th annual holiday shopping market and Christmas at Coteau celebration. While we are unable to welcome our guests and merchants on campus this year, we plan to infuse all of the Christmas at Coteau holiday spirit into off-site and virtual events both for our local businesses and our guests. November 27-29, December 5-6, 12-13, 19-23 – Atchafalaya Christmas. McGee’s Swamp Tours, 1337 Henderson Levee Rd., Henderson. Tour departures at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Adults $25, Children (2-12 years old) $20, Children (0-2 years old) Free. Swamp tours led by Papa Noël (aka Santa Claus) himself! The 60-minute tour will share the story of "The Cajun Night Before Christmas.” After each tour there will be family photos with Santa, ornament decorating (with a swamp-theme), hot chocolate, cookies, and candy-canes. St. Mary Parish
The Cajun Christmas display lighting ceremony is Thursday, Nov. 26th at 6 p.m.; Brashear Avenue, cross street Federal Ave., Morgan City. (Social distancing guidelines will be maintained for this outdoor event.) The ceremony will be streamed on Facebook Live @KWBJ TV 22. The display will be on board the Spirit of Morgan City until early January.
Vermilion Parish
December 3 - Abbeville’s Annual Christmas Stroll. Downtown Abbeville. 5:30-8 p.m. Free. A family-oriented evening of strolling, visiting, shopping and dining. Santa Claus, music, white lights all within the decorated downtown historic district. 337-898-4110, MostCajun.com.
