Louisiana State Police are partnering with the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission and University Medical Center New Orleans to hold a child seat installation event this weekend.
The free event will take place Saturday, January 23, 2021, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at 2490 W Congress Street (near BJ's Pizza).
No appointment is necessary; the event will take place regardless of weather conditions.
State Police remind residents that this is not a seat giveaway event, but an effort to make sure your child's safety seat is installed properly.
Those attending are asked to wear a mask.
