The Cameron Parish courthouse was rededicated on the anniversary of Hurricane Rita, according to KPLC.
The courthouse was built during the Great Depression and has endured the ravages of many hurricanes.
The rededication ceremony was held at 9 a.m. on the steps of the courthouse.
