According to KPLC, the diocese released a statement saying they are working on compiling a list that is “thorough, transparent, just and truthful.”

A full statement can be read below:

The Diocese of Lake Charles is presently reviewing all files with the help of experienced personnel. Once this process is complete, an objective panel of professionals with expertise in law will assess the files and a list will be compiled that is thorough, transparent, just and truthful. The concern of the clergy and laity of the Diocese remains the victims of sexual abuse.

On Thursday, The Diocese of Baton Rouge released their own list of priests and clergy accused of sexual abuse.

14 diocese in Texas have also released the names of nearly 300 clergy and others who have been credibly accused.

The Lafayette Diocese has yet to release their own list. Last month, KATC released a list of priests and church employees who have been accused of sexual abuse.
