LAKE CHARLES – Former U.S. District Judge Patricia Minaldi has died at the age of 60.
Police found her dead inside her home around 2:30 p.m. after conducting a welfare check.
According to the department’s deputy chief, it appears Minaldi died of natural causes.
Minaldi retired from the bench in August 2017.
