The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s says they have recovered the body of a missing Monroe woman whose vehicle was found near the I-210 bridge in Lake Charles.
Deputies say the Office Marine Division Dive Team located the body of 58-year-old Debra Kay Hughes. Her body was recovered on the south side of the I-210 bridge today around 3:00 p.m. Friday.
On Tuesday, September 25, 2018, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s deputies found Hughes Volkswagen Tiguan unoccupied on top of the bridge.
Deputies say that Hughes jumped off the bridge.
