Heading into the new year one sentiment is echoed loud and clear.

"Let's hope it's nothing like 2020."

Many are proceeding with caution into 2021.

"I know things aren't going to change over night, but I think going through the year we've gained a lot of perspective on how we can tackle this year," Anna Schneider said.

This year, Acadiana has some resolutions we can all get on board with. "Eat more cake and love my body a little bit more," said Hanna Daigle.

"The biggest one is to spend as much time with my daughter as I've had the chance to this year," said Harris Howard.

"I would like to learn about giving back to the community and being more involved," said Schneider.

One out of town visitor has resolved she'll spend more time in our neck of the woods this year.

"I'm from the area and live in Atlanta and have been there for the last 7 years and every time I come back it reminds me of food and friends and family," Kira Schleicher said.

With resolutions like these our next trip around the sun is already looking up.

Happy new year!
