This week in Washington, hundreds of state officials from Louisiana are in Washington, D.C. for a Mardi Gras celebration there.
That includes the Acadiana Planning Commission.
They're talking to investors about long-term goals for South Louisiana.
Monique Boulet, Chief Executive Officer of APC, explained, "As a government agency, we can only do so much for revitalization, whether it's the private sector dollar that we need to really be successful and that's what this program does, it allows us to bring the stakeholders into the conversation."
