Saturday was the first day of the annual Acadiana Home and Design Show.
The event is meant to help homeowners with all their home improvement needs.
Event goers will have the chance to see the latest materials, floor treatments, and other new home decorating trends in seminars and walk up tables.
Sponsored by the Acadiana Home Builders Association, the two-day show is held in the Cajundome Convention Center.
Tickets are $10, kids 12 and under get in free. Attendees will have the chance to win a cruise vacation.
The show runs through Sunday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
