A teen arrested in connection with a weekend drive-by shooting was previously arrested in connection with a February homicide.
Rayne Police say that 17-year-old Broderick Mier was arrested on attempted 2nd-degree murder and aggravated assault with a firearm, following a drive-by shooting. Police say that shooting happened in the 200 block of Sixth Street on Saturday, May 25, 2019.
Police say that Broderick was out on bond for the February 2, 2018 homicide of Jordan Matthews.
Broderick is being held in the Acadia Parish jail on a $325,000 bond.
