Four streets in Church Point are under a boil advisory until further notice.
A main line broke today, but it has been repaired. However, the loss of pressure has necessitated the boil order, officials say.
Residents and businesses on Marie, Michelle, Jeanne and Francois streets will be under a boil order until further notice. That means any water drawn from the tap must be boiled for one full minute prior to consuming. That goes for drinking, brushing teeth, making sodas or ice, and watering animals.
