UPDATE: The boil water advisory that was issued for some Church Point residents has been rescinded.
The water is safe for consumption, according to officials.

A boil water advisory has been issued for some residents in Church Point.
Water will be shut off on Tuesday, March 26 to make a repair to a main water line.
Once the water is restored, residents living on Delahoussaye Street, Lena Street and Hamilton Street will be under a boil water advisory until further notice.
