The ASSIST Agency is still offering free tax assistance through April 15.
The ASSIST Agency, Inc. is preparing Federal and State tax returns for low- to moderate-income individuals and families in the Acadia and Vermilion Parishes.
Currently, walk-ins are seen on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm on a first-come, first-serve basis. Appointments will be seen on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Upon arrival at the ASSIST office, please have all the necessary documents including ID’s for all adults in the household and Social Security cards for all members of the household. Please have all applicable documents necessary for completing a return (example: forms W-2, 1099, etc.)
