A 48-year-old Midland man was arrested for a Thursday morning burglary after an observant neighbor took action by reporting the crime in progress.
The neighbor made contact with the owner regarding the matter, according to Acadia Parish Sheriff KP Gibson.
Deputies arrived as the suspect was being held by the property owner. No one was injured and the property was recovered.
Donavan Broussard was arrested on a burglary charge and booked into the Acadia Parish Jail.
“Law enforcement needs the help of our citizens to be observant and report immediately what they see,” stated Sheriff Gibson. “This will help us as we continue to fight for you.”
