The ASSIST Agency will be sponsoring the Summer Food Service/Recreation Program in Jeff Davis and Acadia Parishes this summer beginning May 28, 2019. The program is free of charge to the participants.
Breakfast and lunch will be served and a recreation program will be held between the meals. The Food Service Program is funded through the USDA and the Louisiana Department of Education Child Nutrition Program.
The Agency is taking applications for those interested in providing the recreation participants with a well-rounded program. Applications may be picked up from the ASSIST Agency in Crowley at 11 N. Parkerson Ave or at the Jennings Office at 107 E Nezpique, Jennings, beginning March 11 between the hours of 8:30 am and 3:00 pm.
