One man is dead following a hit-and-run in Eunice last night.
Police are identifying the victim as 60-year-old William “Billy” Heinen.
It happened near the intersection of W Maple Avenue and Jelks Street. Officers responded to the incident at 11:17 p.m. Chief Randy Fontenot says no vehicles were at the scene when officers arrived.
No arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing.
