Police in Basile are looking for a man they say is armed and dangerous in connection with a domestic dispute Tuesday evening.
Officers responded to a complaint at a home where they found the victim “cut up and bruised.”
Forty-one-year-old Jeramie Anthony Brown is wanted on several charges: domestic abuse, unauthorized entry of inhabited dwelling, telecommunications harassment, threatening public official, aggravated battery, and resisting arrest.
Police say Brown threatened the responding officers.
His last known address is Eunice.
The victim was treated by EMS and is doing okay.
