The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office says they are seeking information regarding a fatal hit and run crash on Monday night in Crowley.
Deputies have identified the victim as 78-year-old Jeanette Clifton of Crowley.
Clifton was struck by a vehicle traveling west on Lovell Street. Deputies say that Clifton was walking home from a neighbor’s home at around 8:30 pm when she was struck.
“We are seeking information from the public to identify the vehicle or driver responsible for this crash,” says Sheriff KP Gibson. “Simply driving away does not make this matter disappear. We ask that the responsible person in this crash do what is right and turn yourself in.”
