What should have been a routine Crowley City Council meeting turned into a heated exchange between two aldermen.
KATC cameras were rolling when aldermen Jeff Cavell and Vernon Martin had an verbal exchange.
Mayor Tim Monceaux says, “It was a misunderstanding between two councilmen, and the city is moving forward and putting this behind us.”
Friday, the council did approve a lease agreement for the police department to lease 16 vehicles.
