MORSE – First responders in Acadia Parish are focusing on giving this Christmas.
Today, firefighters with Acadia Parish District 5 and Morse police officers with the help of the Thin Blue Line Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club in St. Landry Parish and private donors delivered meals and gifts to families in need of a little extra help.
They were able to collect 230 gifts, 24 boxes of food and 24 turkeys.
Santa, Mrs. Clause and Sparky the Fire Dog were also there, greeting the kids.
